Farmer’s Spraying Service Acquisition

Kanza Cooperative Association is proud to announce that Farmer Spraying Service (FSS) of Pratt and Haviland has joined our team of brands. FSS will continue to operate under the name Farmers Spraying Service as a dba business (similar to Iuka Feeds) to provide aerial application services to our members. FSS offices and staff will remain in place as part of the Kanza organization to keep aerial operations running smoothly.

“We are excited to expand our agronomy service offering with the addition aerial application and know the team at FSS has the expertise to help us do it,” said Jeff Bolen, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations. “We are working together to make this as seamless of transition as possible for all our customers.”

Kanza members who have worked with FSS in the past should see very little difference beyond streamlined billing and payments through their existing Kanza account. FSS customers who are not current Kanza members are encourage to apply for membership to qualify for patronage payments on agronomy products applied by FSS.

Aerial services will continue in the same territory as FSS has previously operated, including most customers utilizing agronomy services from Pratt and Stafford county locations. Customers within Kanza’s eastern territory (Wichita area) who are interested in aerial application services are encouraged to visit with their Kanza agronomy sales representative as plans for future expansion of offerings will be based on demand.
