Kanza Cooperative Association is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Wheat Harvest Photo contest will run from June 1- July 10, 2020.
“Wheat Harvest is a time that so many Kanza customers and employees look forward to,” said Jackie Mundt, Kanza Communications and Marketing Manager. “The Kanza Wheat Harvest photo contest has become a fun way for us to connect with our members and capture some of the special moments during this hectic but beautiful time of year.”
Kanza members, employees, and friends are encouraged to submit pictures via our Facebook page and tag them #KanzaHarvest20. Submissions will be excepted from June 1- July 10. Finalists will be selected in four categories:
- Essential Harvest- Recently much of the world has been on pause but farmers haven’t stopped. Let’s recognize the work of feeding the world with pictures of harvest in real life.
- American Icon- We’re still jazzed about on our recent American Idol fame. This category is for glamour shots of any of our Kanza locations as they dominate the skyline of our local communities.
- Generations of Kanzans- From the patriarch, who has harvested decades in a row to the future generation, our member families are rooted in the traditions of Kansas wheat harvest. Snap a photo of your loved ones and show us what family farming is all about.
- Employee submission- There are many talented folks working for Kanza, this category is for them. These pics can be of any subject matter.
Followers of the Kanza Facebook page will vote for their favorite submissions during the week of July 13. Winners will receive a Kanza Prize Pack.
