Kanza Cooperative Association is excited to once again sponsor a student to attend the Kansas Cooperative Council (KCC) Youth Leadership Camp in July.

Co-op camp is designed to educate young people on the cooperative principles. This summer program will provide a fun and engaging cooperative experience that builds leadership, business, and communications skills. Attendees will also have a chance to network with other youth leaders from around the state.

“I didn’t know what a co-op was when I came to this camp, and so a thing I learned was member value,” said Kanza’s 2019 attendee Ruby Howell of Pratt. “It is the most important thing, because a co-op is serving its members.”

The 3 day, overnight camp, will be held on July 8-10 at the historic Rock Springs 4-H Center, south of Junction City, KS. Kanza will cover the cost of lodging, food and registration for the camp and may provide transportation if needed.

This opportunity is open to current high school sophomores and juniors who live in Barber, Butler, Edwards, Harvey, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt, Reno, Sedgwick and Stafford counties.

Interested candidates should submit submit the application below and supporting documents by March 6 to info@kanzacoop.com. Top applicants will be contacted for an interview in March.
