People driving past the new Pratt office location recently, will have noticed a slightly different look. Last week a crew worked to bring down the communications tower that loomed over the building, which previously belonged to Ninnescah Rural Electric Cooperative.
After purchasing the building last fall, Kanza management decided to remove the unused communications tower as a safety precaution. During removal, workers cut and lowered small sections of the tower until the height reach 150 ft. and the remainder was removed by a crane.
Currently, the Pratt office building is being remodeled to accommodate Kanza staff who will be moving to the location soon. Kanza’s maintenance department is already working out of buildings located on the same property.
