Bruce and Geneva Krehbiel Scholarship Recipients Announced

Kanza Cooperative Association is excited to announce the recipients of the 2026 Bruce and Geneva Krehbiel Scholarship. Each student selected is connected to Kanza as an employee, family member of a member or employee, or by studying in an agricultural field. 

2026 recipients, high school attended & college attending: 
  • Trystan Harrold — Skyline High School, studying veterinarian medicine at Colby Community College
  • Ethan Robinson, grandson of retired Kanza employee Rex Robinson — Skyline High School, Bethany College
  • Maylin Sanders, granddaughter of Kanza employee Paul Eisenhour — Stafford High School, Fort Hays State University
  • Jase Robertson, son of Kanza employee Chandra Robertson — Cheney High School, Pittsburg State University
  • Claire Birkenbaugh, son of Kanza member Jason Birkenbaugh — Kingman High School, Fort Hays State University
  • Issac House, son of Kanza member Jereme House — Skyline High School, Kansas State University
  • Allison Simon, daughter of Kanza employee Kurt Simon — Andale High School, Butler Community College 
The Bruce and Geneva Krehbiel Family Scholarship was established in 2023 to honor Bruce’s 36 years of service as CEO of Kanza. The scholarship is funded through an endowment of the South Central Community Foundation (SCCF) and was established by the Kanza board of directors. Scholarships are awarded annually through SCCF’s scholarship program with applications available from January 1 through March 15.
